Oran Orwe is an old fellow with a silver tongue and a brilliant head of still-red hair. He has been called the Flame of the Valorgi and often represents the tribe to local rulers in Yewland, Caledon, and Dunland.

He has fought off several challengers for his position, nearly murdering one of his own nephews with his favored sledgehammer, which he calls Elkslayer.
